My Story
Transferring his wealth of knowledge to Manheim, Erich served as the National Accounts Manager at the Nashville auto auction before being promoted to Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast. Throughout his career, Erich has explored multiple facets of the automotive landscape, including operating one of the largest Wholesale operations, owning his own dealership and serving as a Senior Performance Manager for an major Automotive SAAS company.
Most recently, Erich held the esteemed positions of Used Vehicle Director for the West half of the U.S. and General Manager for one of the largest publicly traded automotive companies. In these roles, he showcased his prowess as an accomplished and results-driven Operations and Strategic Planning Leader, particularly in the realm of used cars.
Erich has consistently demonstrated the ability to drive significant results through dynamic foresight, strategic planning, and effective leadership of teams. With a track record of success in building and executing strategies for business operations, customer service, and revenue growth, Erich is a formidable force in the Automotive Dealership sector. His dedication to excellence and passion for innovation continue to define his illustrious career.
Erich Black is a proud Filipino American, happily married to his wife Jennifer, and a devoted father to his two sons, Preston and Keith. He embarked on his automotive journey after graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Business, initially starting as a Buyer for Carmax in Texas. Erich's exceptional talent and dedication propelled him through the ranks, leading to roles such as Regional Manager for Florida and the Midwest.
